I passed my exams! I ended up getting a A for it, I am not sure how it happened but great, its all finished now.

Things I need to focus on right now:

Find a home
Look at jobs

Now its been sometime since I've posted and a few thoughts are building up again, a distant memory is that exam gawd that was awful. Sitting it was a complete nightmare and I was a nurvus wreck; never have I felt like that before in an exam. This exam I revised so much and worked so hard, I've never felt this in a previous exam. I have no idea what my result will be but I am feeling negative, I guess most people do. I get my results at the end of the month.

Now on to this weekend; Yesterday I first watched City of Ember, its a film about a underground city and terrible stuff happens to the generator so a young boy and girl try find a way out of the city. The film reminded me of Fallout 3, it could have been inspired but the original game series but its really worth watching.

After that I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. What a orignal amazing film. Brad Pitt plays Benjamin wonderfully it shows his excellent acting. He plays many different roles in many films which shows he can act. Many actors such as Vin Diesel could name his films Vin Diesel generic film 1, 2 and 3 etc. However back on to Benjamin Button this is a must buy film on DVD the ending is wonderfully done and nearly made me cry. There were many people in the cinema crying and on the way out there was too... a truely emotional film.

The next film I watched yesterday was Sex Drive... ha its a great hilarious film. Its not worth talking about in detail though, its very simular to Roadtrip.

The last film I watched was Taken. I've never been a fan of Liam Neeson, I am not sure why. He played the main character in Taken extremely well and I liked the action.

Today I watched Role Models, another funny film not sure if its worth buying on DVD though. The characters worked very well together and its a hear warming film. The cinema was quite busy.

After watching that I saw Slumdog Millionaire. My first insight into how India is, a rough film showing the harsh life of a boy who wins 20 million rupies (which is £278,000). He is accused for cheating and has to explain how a slum boy could answer the questions. Its got a good love story entwined into the story too, this is a buy on DVD film.

So as you see I've watched many films this weekend and also gone shopping seeing as its Valentines next week. Hopefully I'll get to my girls house on Saturday night if shes back from work.

I've also started the move of my main website back to Dataflame. Webfusion were lieing to me on the phone and their customer service was extremely poor and in one case I called back and spoke to a woman I had previously spoken to... apparently she had been told off for spending to long trying to fix a problem I was having with login into the control panel she said she couldn't help in case it was a long call again and passed me on to someone else... that was unbelievable.

I know I quit Ultima Online a year ago but I recently I've been thinking about it more and more. I think its the community the game has which gives it life and enjoyment. I think I might try it again seeing as Warhammer Online requires a kick ass PC which I ain't buying.

Perhaps MMORPGS are designed to give people a feeling of purpose or a alternative comfortable controllable life to escape to. Now there is nothing wrong with my life, I am with an amazing girl who I love dearly, I get to spend every weekend with her, I am in a job which is sometimes entertaining. Marketing, who dreams of being in marketing when they are a kid... hey mum I want to know how to market products and stuff, that would just be so cool!

I think not, but then I look at what else I can achieve given the skills I have. Now marketing is a great career choice with loads of future prospect providing you have experience.

Next week I have an exam to complete my Professional Certificate in Marketing which I am crapping myself about... exams are terrible, so much to revise, focus on and think about. Assignment based work you take one step at a time and use a book for reference, pretty much like real life... if your not sure, google it. How can our brains expect to hold such massive amounts of information in such great detail, especially when the subject is not entirely exciting or inspiring. Maybe I am heading for a midlife crisis.

My girl is in America (the Caribbean next week!!), I wish I was there but I have this exam, can't have it always. I miss her so much, a lot more than I thought I would. Its weird not being able to pick up my phone can just call her. Or text (knowing it ain't costing her a fortune) her to say hello.

I think I'll consider playing UO after she arrives back that way I'll know its not a lonely thing.

Lee Evan's show was great last night, shame about the seats. I would definately see him again! Im not sure about his singing at the end though, it wasn't even funny! Great night though.

Well I am just over a week back from holiday in sunny Florida and the Bahamas... I really miss it.

I'll get some pictures up on Flickr soon. Surprise surprise my list is no closer to completion. I had a moment last night when lay in bed and thought how much stuff I am missing out on learning at the minute due to laziness and the fact Christmas is just over 3 weeks away. I need to seriously sit down and think about what I am getting people.

Right! I have decided to make a list.

a magically list of things I want to do and have to do sometime.

My biggest problem is I buy books, I say I am going to do things and I simply forget about them, or find another interest to move onto.

This list is a guide to myself of what I want to do and to see if I can actually complete any task.

Lets see how long my attention lasts for.

UO is no more...

I did not renew my subscription from UO and its not bothering me at all.

I don't actually play on the PC much any more. I do play DOD Source every so often on the OCgaming server.

I tend to just play on my Xbox now.

Ultima Online - Kingdom Reborn rants

Right I am in a little bit of a mood over KR.

I pray one day it will be amazing and it will look like a game which has been created by a team who love a game and have a good budget. It would be so interesting to see where my £9.99 a month goes exactly. Perhaps we are supplying EA with new sports cars... if so I want a job!

KR as it stands to date looks completely rubbish, I wont beat around the bush here it looks like a game I should have expected to play when I had windows 98/2000... it looks old and its not living up to standards these days.

They've tried making a 3d client before and now they ditched it, do they not learn?

I believe some over reactive baffoon at EA saw UO and went Urrrgh my god do we actually own this ugly 2D game... UO guys make it 3D and make it 3D now... you have 3 months.

So the UO team went off and created this monster which is apparenty going to relaunch UO to the masses with its crappy unclear look and completely out of date graphics.

Don't get me wrong I dont play uo just for its uber 2d graphics but it gets on my nerves how they waste money on something which looks like it should be in alpha testing. It looks completely rushed.

I recently bought the collectors edition of Gears of War for the Xbox. Before playing the game I watched the DVD extras which shows you the Epic team and explains their passion for this game. Oh my god what a game they made... but to be honest every game they have made looks completely kick ass and feels fantastic!

I have lost complete hope in the Origin team and I believe they are living in a time long passed and they believe they are making a kick ass RPG game even better.

UO has lasted this long solely because of the community and expensive subscription charges for a uncared for game, im tired and sick of it.

I am currently patching KR to see if its all changed... however I know it hasn't. Its taking for ages!

My subscription runs out in 7 days and I seriously dowt I will be renewing my subscription unless something nice happens to cheer me up.

I hope Pirates of the Burning Seas is good and feel like quality. I've been looking at that game for sometime now. It might keep me enterained once Sony publish it.
